Theresè and I started Quintessential Tours because
we believed that there were people who didn't want the
burden of driving, but who wanted both the advantages
of an independent vacation, and of an expert local guide.
We believed that these people longed to get beyond the
standard sights, and actually experience their destination
hands-on. We believed they wanted to do this on their
terms, without having to subjugate their needs to a
prepackaged tour, or to the requirements of a group
of strangers. We also believed that these people craved
the kind of service that could accomplish all of this
with a minimum of work and hassle to them.
