Thank you Bob for the giving us the wonderful opportunity
to have this trip, for without you and Quintessential
Tours we would not have even contemplated this trip.
In New Zealand we drive on the left hand side of the
road and to have one of us trying to work out right
hand driving would have been a nightmare. Plus the driver
never gets to appreciate the scenery while driving.
It is a big leap of faith to arrange a long trip of
31 days such as ours through the internet and phone
calls. It could have been a recipe for disaster but
proved to be the very best way for us to see the amazing
sights you took us to.
We felt totally safe travelling with you through busy
cities, along the open highways and through twisty narrow
country roads.
It must surely have been difficult being in the company
of a group of people with such diverse personalities
and interests but you appeared to accomplish the task
with ease and good humour. We appreciated that you were
flexible and had no problem with all the little side
trips and other delays that added extra time onto your
working day. Impractical plans we came up with on our
journey were politely explained by you of their downfalls
and dismissed. You could often offer a better alternative.
When our grand daughter Taila fell sick while we were
staying at Monument Valley this certainly threw a spanner
in the works. We really appreciated you going the extra
mile when Taila had her medical emergency in the middle
of the night by driving Julie, Nick and Taila over an
hours drive to the nearest hospital at Kayenta and waiting
with them until the small hours of the morning when
Taila was flown by air ambulance to Flagstaff hospital.
Thank you for reworking our entire schedule to catch
us up so that we did not miss any of the main sites
we had come to see and changing our accommodation bookings
seamlessly.
We were very happy with the route for the whole trip
that we worked out together. The parks we went to were
all spectacular and would loved to have spent longer
in each place but wanted to see as much of the area
as we reasonably could.
Surely the best testimonial we can give is the fact
that we were so rapt with the trip that Joy and Rex
have now booked a 66 day tour with you for September
2009.
