| For people with more than
a week to spend, the Garibaldi Route expands on
the shorter Cabrillo
Route to include he Napa/Sonoma Wine Country,
Lake Tahoe, and the striking scenery of the Eastern
Sierra between Tahoe and Yosemite. Where Yosemite's
amazing High Country is an optional component of
the Cabrillo, it's an integral part of the Garibaldi,
with the 10,000 foot (3,000 meter) Tioga Pass serving
as the gateway between Tahoe and Yosemite. An optional
extension to include San Diego ensures the inclusion
of all of California's most popular destinations,
and a few hidden gems. |
